MARATHON DES SABLES events are organized by WAA.

The MARATHON DES SABLES is an unforgettable race and adventure, taking place in timeless destinations. A week-long adventure with 4 days in the desert, a route of 70, 100 or 120km divided into 3 stages to be completed by walking or running. The MDS is designed to be accessible to everyone, so come and join the adventure of a lifetime!
